Not to reopen the discussion in December, but perhaps we can all agree that he comes to us and calls us to follow him along paths that are unfamiliar if not unknown: paths that counterintuitive to our human inclination to strive and to provide.
This week&#039;s lesson scripture is familiar to all of us, ending with Christ&#039;s compelling observation, &quot;Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.&quot;
So, aside from taking in the lovely strains of the choir&#039;s anthems, how do you square this week&#039;s lesson scripture with how we live our lives?</description>
