Well, this is another first for me! I am now an official "blogger". Tom, is there a correct technical term for someone that blogs?

otisdirector, why have ya'll been awol? You are missing out.........

For those of us that read at night when we may be tired, "Treasures" is really easy to read. It is most reassuring to again realize that the Lord does meet us exactly where we are.

As we've often noted, "time is relative". However, I have taken us back to Tupelo as opposed to Kabul Time.

The clock on this site, however, needs serious work. I posted the above note at 8:32 a.m. on Sept. 11.

What a great idea ... and it's especially painless for those of us of a certain age. The sign-up page has very large type.

I'm pleased to have a chance to blog with this group although Otis and I have been AWOL from Sunday School.

I chose this nickname because wordpress said that susan was already taken....and Otis introduces me sometimes as his director.

Tom, how can you leave a response at 11:50 on 9/11 and it's only 7:20?

I want to encourage everyone to read each day -- don't read ahead, that's not the point. First of all, we're all going to try to stay on the "same page". More importantly, the value of this sort of study is in developing the habit of daily study and meditation. Mathison really makes a great point about not realizing that we're thirsty. I loved the story about the headache! Remember, we're supposed to be thinking of stories ourselves. Write 'em down, even if you don't post them, we can share them later.
